2007 Update

Once again we had a great year. We still have permission to hunt 1,500,000 acres that is one million five hundred thousand acres in the prime duck area. This area contains many small ponds therefore keeping the hunting pressure to a minimum. No pond is hunted more than once every two weeks. We are continually upgrading our ranches. The last group of four hunters shot approximately 650 ducks that we found; pictures are on this page. Dove and pigeons were non-stop. We still lease the best roost for doves in all of Argentina. The government closed all goose hunting approximately a month before the season opened but Ranchosalvaje received special permission which meant we were one of the only outfitters to hunt goose. What a bonanza…the first morning in one hour, I personally shot 50. The same last group of four hunters shot shot 170 in 1 ½ hours on their last day.
